Financial Controller

Investigo are currently working with a business based in North Hertfordshire to find an immediately available Financial Controller to assist with the day to day running of the finance team. This role is to assist the Group Financial Controller while they manage some recent acquisitions.

This role will suit an immediately available FC/FM who is ideally qualified but may also be qualified by experience.

Key duties -

• You will be expected to lead in the design, and the consistent delivery, of high-quality management information, including KPI's and explanatory commentary on monthly financial performance
• As Financial Controller, you will have day-to-day operational and line management responsibility for the finance team, currently comprising five people, and will assist the Group Financial Controller in meeting the information requirements of all internal and external stakeholders, including private equity investors and lending institutions.
• The role-holder will have primary responsibility for all the routine operational responsibilities of the finance function, i.e. payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, management accounts preparation. This role is primarily a "line finance" role, but with excellent opportunities to add value through analysis and board-level interactions.
• Assist the Group FC with the day to day running of the finance team
• Manage a small team of 4 consisting of AP, AR and revenue accountants
• Manage the cash forecasts
• Ensure the group reporting is adhered to
