Job description

Investigo are recruiting for a Financial Controller for an exciting 6-month Fixed Term Contract that has strong potential to move to permanent, for a multinational business based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills and make a real difference in a growing business.

The role is paying from £75,000 - £90,000 pro rata, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Finance Transitions across EMEA, coordinating activities, providing thought leadership setting policies and procedures, delivering training materials and playbooks, and ensuring the necessary pipeline of resources is available
  • Represent Finance where necessary for future pricing in deals of Transition related activities interfacing and providing input into client meetings
  • Ensure that Transition budgets are agreed and documented with customers, and where necessary monitoring and tracking progress against this with both internal and external customers
  • Meeting with client representatives to plan transition related activities for deals in red zone or secured, ensuring that these requirements are adequately documented and communicated to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure Finance including in-country leaderships are aware of transitions activity taking place in their region on EMEA pursuits
  • Work with the SSC to ensure that they have the correct structures to execute transitions
  • Identify, analyse and resolve potential business risks as it pertains to Transitions
  • Build and develop high level relationships with business and functional leaders and customers
  • Constantly seek to improve quality, service and efficiency in Transitions, including the sharing of best practice and the regular communication of initiatives or achievements

Role requirements

  • Qualified CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills
  • Strong influential skills that leverage genuine engagement with cross functional and cross business teams to implement enterprise strategies and solutions
  • Worked in a complex multinational with hands on experience of managing teams in continental Europe
  • Excellent organisational skills and experience implementing change
  • Strong leader with experience ensuring team delivery when working to tight deadlines
  • Experience of investigation and analysis of financial issues and evidence of detailed and precise report writing
