Financial Controller

Financial Controller required for a growing and acquisitive small to medium sized business based in Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire.

Whilst reporting into the Head of Finance and supporting the divisions with finance related issues you and your team will be responsible for the Financial and Management reporting as well as Treasury, Accounts Payable, ongoing process improvements and oversight of P&L.

Day to day duties and accountabilities include: Ongoing management and development of your team including appraisals and day to day development, Management and Financial Reporting, P&L oversight, Budgeting and forecasting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, ongoing process and systems improvement, annual audit management and managing the relationship with the auditors and ad-hoc project work to support the divisions with finance related matters.

The ideal candidate will be a senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller who can hit the ground running in most of the above areas with a desire to build a long-term career.

You will be a qualified Accountant ideally ACA or ACCA and will have come from the Accountancy Practice route, but this is not essential.
