Financial Controller

Our client is a well established multinational PE backed business in South Hertfordshire. One of the largest companies of it's kind, they have built up a strong industry reputation over many years and are currently embarking on a strategic program across the group to tighten controls and increase business output. Highly entrepreneurial, this multi-million turnover business require a Financial Controller to become a key decision maker and contribute to strategic initiatives, challenge and improve decision making and develop management information, reporting, analysis and controls across the regions.

The role will be split between 2 local sites and will support 3 key businesses in all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters and will include the supervision of a finance team, cash management and projects. The client requires a qualified accountant, ideally ACA (although other qualifications will be considered) with a number of years post qualified experience ideally gained within a growing corporate business at Senior Manager / Controller level. Exposure to group consolidations, transfer pricing is ideal. Experience of working in a private equity business will hold a distinct advantage and a pro-active, intuitive mindset
