Financial Controller

Our client is a well established multinational FMCG business in South Hertfordshire. One of the fastest growing companies of it's kind, they have built up a strong industry reputation over many years and are currently embarking on a strategic program across the group to tighten controls and increase business output. Highly entrepreneurial, this multi-million turnover business require a Financial Controller/Group Financial Controller to become a key decision maker and contribute to strategic initiatives, challenge and improve decision making and develop management information, reporting, analysis and controls across the regions.

The role will be split will support 3 key businesses in all aspects of financial reporting and accounting matters and will include the supervision of a finance team, cash management and projects. The client requires a qualified accountant, ideally ACA (although other qualifications will be considered) with a number of years post qualified experience ideally gained within a growing corporate business in FMCG or Manufacturing at Senior Manager / Controller level. Exposure to group consolidations, transfer pricing is ideal. Experience of working in a private equity business will hold a distinct advantage and a pro-active, intuitive mindset
