Financial Controller

Financial Controller required to join highly successful multi-site business during an exciting period of positive change.

Whilst reporting to the Financial Director and supporting the board in taking the business to the next level through acquisition and growth your key accountabilities and focus will be:

Mentoring, developing and upskilling an established and friendly team of 20, prioritising on improving and automation of Accounts Payable and Receivable, maintaining and enhancing strong financial control and building a platform to cater for future growth, enhancing Management reporting with a view to adding value and decision support to the business, supporting the Financial Director and Board with growth and acquisitions, reporting on actuals versus financial plan along with commentary to aid decision making, cashflow management and forecasting, supporting the budgeting process, lead the external audit process and relationships with external bodies, Financial accounting and commercial analysis to bring additional insight to the business.

This role will give exposure to the whole business and is perfect for an established Finance Manager/Financial Controller looking to gain the required experience to become a future Financial Director.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced Finance Manager ACA, ACCA or CIMA with exceptional leadership skills and will have exposure to a high volume multisite retail or FMCG environment with a sizeable transactional team.
