Financial Controller - Projects

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly developing engineering business. They are looking for a Regional Financial Controller to join their business and take ownership of 3 core regions and a finance team of 4.

The role will have 2 core areas:

• Ensuring financial rigour within the region
• Providing the regional monthly reporting and liaising with the Group finance team as required.
• Prepare annual budgets for region
• Monthly variance analysis and commentaries
• Business Partnering the Project budget holders ensuring financial results are communicated to the SMT
• Providing accurate forecasting on projects revenue
• Understanding project milestones and revenue recognition implications.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA equivalent) with extensive financial control and long term Project accounting experience. Strong business partnering skills will also be essential to drive financial rigour with non-finance budget holders.
