Job description

Investigo are recruiting to a 6-month FTC for a Finance Performance Analyst to join a prestigious property company, based in central London. They are looking for a finalist with Power BI expertise and strong problem-solving skills.

The salary on offer stretches from £50,000 - £55,000, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Development of the BI reporting suite and dashboard, including design, build and testing of Power BI solution, building on current data models to enhance dynamic visual analysis and improve insight capability for the business
  • Ingesting data from a variety of sources and performing required transformations using Power BI
  • Development of advanced and effective DAX calculations; familiar with multi-dimensional cubes
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with all areas of the Finance FM and Operations team - the ability to communicate and articulate insights clearly is a key requirement.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analytical support to the Finance FM/ Ops support function
  • Training of relevant stakeholders in the use of data within Power BI from data management and data analysis perspective
  • Excellent knowledge in the use of integrated financial systems and spreadsheets to assist the input, manipulation and extraction of data from various systems and packages.
  • Enhance and streamline reporting activities through the use of analytical tools such as Power Query/ Power Pivot for Excel and Power BI.
  • Drive continuous enhancement and process optimisation to improve our capability to deliver relevant business and financial analysis.

Role requirements

  • Finalist / professional finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA) or training in business analytics
  • Microsoft Power BI Specialist
  • Extensive knowledge of financial accounting principles and techniques;
  • Delivering analytical solutions and insight across large and complex base.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including DAX and M language
  • Experience of working with large data sets and creation of commercial data models to drive dashboards and analytics.
  • Commercial expertise within a facility management, property or service-related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with senior members of the Group and remote Finance teams
