Job description

This newly created role in the Group Financial Reporting team of a blue-chip organisation will provide expert support to the Senior Director, enabling delivery of financial reporting requirements aswell as supporting significant acquisition activity. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join a high performing team and support critical Group activities at a very exciting time for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Group year-end and quarterly reporting requirement
  • Supporting project working involving a significant acquisition
  • Preparation and review of regulatory filings to UK and US authorities in relation to M&A activities
  • Preparation of CFO decks, audit committee papers and other internal documents
  • Support transactional and reporting workstreams related to acquisition work
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders across the business

The successful, ACA qualified candidate will have:

Significant experience of financial statement preparation

IFRS technical expertise, with practical experience in M&A transactions

Highly proficient in executive reporting - Board and audit committee papers, CFO briefing notes and external communications

Financial audit / transactions / capital markets experience in a Big 4 audit firm

Experience in regulatory filings on M&A activity e.g. circulars, prospectus
