FP&A Finance Manager

A renowned business in the Technology space require a Financial Planning Manager to provide commercial insight to the team. The role reports into the Head of Finance for the division.

This is a permanent hire that has great opportunities for progression for ambitious finance professionals.

Your skillset

As the Financial Planning Manager, you will take ownership of the divisional budgeting process. To thrive in this role, you will be a self-starter with an analytical mindset and the ability to understand and interpret financial information. You will also be responsible for specific deliverables around the commercial elements of the month-end process including leading and presenting the monthly forecasting. Your ability to create valuable financial information that will drive the direction of the business will provide support for other teams within your division and align strategic direction within the BU. You will be operating within a complex group and therefore need to be comfortable with averting risk and following procedures.

Leading the commercial function of this large complex division, will give you significant exposure to the CFO and other c-suite members. The successful candidate will possess excellent stakeholder management & project management skills to influence and drive the planning process. Your problem-solving approach will help to drive performance throughout the division and help to implement best practice reporting across the function.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant either through industry (ACCA/CIMA) or through practice (ACA/ACCA) but will have proven financial planning, project management and budgeting/forecasting skills acquired through experience in industry.

Location

Currently work from home but ultimately central London based.
