Job description

Investigo Private Equity are currently recruiting for an FP&A Manager to join one of London's best employers. This FP&A Manager role reports directly into the Head of FP&A, whilst also working closely with the Head of Finance & Finance Director. The FP&A Manager position is a very traditional FP&A role, with a lot of the focus being around business planning processes and stakeholder engagement, helping ensure that the organisation is able to make clear sense of it's data. The successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountants, who has ideally then spent time within industry in a role with some commercial exposure.

The Role

  • To co-ordinate and produce key aspects of the corporate financial planning process, including the annual budget and five-year plan.
  • Maintain and develop the 5-year business model.
  • Support the development of appropriate performance measurement frameworks to monitor progress of plans against budgets during the year.
  • Ensure departmental budgets are aligned with the business strategy. Maintain internal analysis of results vs budget.
  • Present the final business plan to senior management and shareholders
  • Improve the business capabilities for cash forecasting and working capital management
  • Modelling for shareholders appropriate cash extraction options.
  • Project and investment appraisals for Engineering, including NPV, IRR and ROI analysis.
  • Aid departmental reviews with insightful analysis and commentary
  • Business planning of Capex spend. Working with the project teams to establish spend for business plan submission.
  • Ensuring projects are planned, funded, resourced, and agreed by all key stakeholders
  • Enabling the managing of projects with great attention to financial detail, ensuring the Project Manager has the information necessary for delivery within agreed budget and timescales through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensuring all project communications are timely, relevant, and appropriate to the audience.
  • Communicate changes to time and scope of budget, driving progression in a controlled way.
  • Responsible for timely status reports, which accurately reflect project progress.

Your Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (Ideally ACA/with experience managing audit)
  • FP&A/Commercial experience in industry
  • Experience in retail/real estate/multi-site

Salary

£65,000 + bonus
