Job description

Investigo Finance are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a growing Northamptonshire based Private Equity backed business who are looking to recruit a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, on a permanent basis (1 to 2 days a week onsite)


Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the primary focus of the FP&A Manager will be to manage robust forecasting and planning, including regular forecasting, budgeting and long-term plans. As the Group continues to grow through investment and acquisition opportunities forecasts must be updated to reflect these opportunities. The individual must be sufficiently challenging to ensure the robustness of the data and build strong relationships across the business.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high quality budget and forecasting process, ensuring that appropriate challenge and analysis is undertaken and there is clear accountability for delivery of these plans
  • Ensure the budget and forecasting process is clearly communicated and understood throughout the company
  • Consolidate the company budget and forecast information and prepare board packs
  • Analyse and challenge budget and forecast submissions to ensure stretching but realistic targets are set
  • Responsible for maintaining the long term valuation model and ensuring that senior management understand and agree all assumptions in the model
  • Ensure that senior management team understand the impact of key decisions on the long term value of the business
  • Work with the financial control and operations teams to ensure accurate cashflow reporting and management
  • Provide support and information to the shareholder to enable them to report on business performance
  • Maintain and develop financial models to support M&A activity and internal growth projects
