Fund Accountant - Real Estate

Are you a recently qualified Fund Accountant looking for your first move into an inhouse role / into a mroe commercial role with greater exposure to deals and transactions.

Investigo is excited to be partnering with a high growth boutique asset manager that specialise in private equity backed real assets. This role is high exposure position and is a fantastic opportunity for an administration trained fund Accountant or an ambitious Accountant looking to make their first move into Fund Accounting to move into an inhouse position.

Duties involve:

• Reviewing monthly and quarterly fund accounts, NAV calculations and unit pricing
• Reviewing monthly and quarterly fund distribution calculations
• Assisting with fund year end audits and statutory accounts production
• Reviewing loan covenant compliance reporting
• Reviewing quarterly VAT returns
• Preparing the fund regulatory returns
• Review/submission of fund reporting (MSCI, INREV, CIS etc.)
• Assisting with the preparation of investor reporting
• Overseeing the fund invoicing processes
• Completing fund depository information requests
• Providing ad-hoc financial support to the Fund Managers and Directors
• Assisting with annual administrator compliance reviews
• Preparing corporate regulatory returns
• Involvement with other ad-hoc project work as required

Requirements:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Experience / knowledge of fund structures / SPV structures
• Driven, ambitious and team orientated
• Intermediate excel skills
• proactive and curious approach to work - enjoy learning and developing skills
