About the role

The newly formed Finance Global Process department is responsible for driving and leading the change road map for Finance.

This team will be a key enabler to driving best practice and will be working closely with the Technology team and internal Business Services to deliver this. It's an exciting time to join the team and be involved in building this brand new department.

As the Global Process Lead, you will be supporting a Global Process Expert / Owner. You will play key roles as a global process Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving the Finance change agenda, ensuring the delivery of change within a constrained environment, managing business cases, change impacts, implementation and sustainability of initiatives within a key Process Workstream.

You will actively seek opportunities to innovate and source best practices to develop the processes through collaboration for your particular workstream and will drive activities which move Finance dept materially towards best practice in terms of process strategy, improvement, performance, engagement and governance.

You will be responsible for

  • Supporting the development of the change agenda and performance objectives for the specific end to end (e2e) processes, ensuring it aligns to the organisations Delivery Model (adjacent process domains and relevant component owners) and support building understanding & commitment for successful delivery across Finance, TBS & Tech Engineering
  • Engage relevant parts of the business and Finance teams, representing my global process to understand their requirements, dependencies, and objectives for the change agenda.
  • Identifying opportunities, projected benefits and business case, assess change impact, prepare recommendation for implementation and obtain formal approval for implementation planning via formal governance.
  • Engage with Technology and Service Delivery Transactional teams within TBS, defining service delivery requirements to support their successful deployment of approved changes.
  • Explore innovation opportunities via deployment of workflow, RPA, AI & robotics working closely with continuous improvement SME's in TBS and Technology Engineering.
  • Work alongside the GPE and business area to build investment cases as required and develop a roll-out plan.
  • Support the refinement and development of new policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.

You will need

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Planning, Budgeting and forecasting
  • Should have worked on projects like transitions, implementation, and process improvements.
  • SOP and Process map building experience required.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Individual contributing role
  • Oracle fusion and other reporting tool experience will be added advantage.
  • Experience in driving the implementation of global, technology enabled end to end processes and process governance models
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, particularly in presenting complex topics/decisions to non-subject expert audiences
  • Demonstrable commercial experience and delivering cost benefits and quality improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple business operating units / within a matrix management structure
  • Strong project and change management skills, ideally with a process improvement methodology (e.g. Six Sigma)
  • Professional accounting qualification (or material relevant experience)
  • Qualified Accountant* / Commercial background - dependant on global process.
  • *ACA, ACCA, CIMA preferable
