Group Finance Systems Aanlyst

My internationally renowned client is seeking a Group Finance Systems Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is suitable for someone with proven analytic experience and a strong interest in systems as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance and leadership to internal stakeholders
• Ensure that all systems have on-site support at agreed times
• Actively identify and communicate areas where skills gaps present a risk to supporting business as usual
• Ensure the support teams actively resolve incidents/defects to the best of their ability
• Draft and distribute support related communications to appropriate stakeholders when required
• Ensure that end user training and cross training across platforms meets the needs of users and is delivered in an appropriate and professional manner
• Engage third party developers where required to resolve issues
• Take full ownership of resolving immediate technology system issues
• Where required, raise issues with Central IT resources or external vendors to expedite timely resolution of technical issues experienced by customers
• Actively gather and communicate user comments to system stakeholders
• Identify and suggest improvements to supported systems & processes to improve customer experience
• Liaise with internal development teams or vendors as required to resolve and review logged issues to ensure they are all resolved satisfactorily
• Provide input into the production of functional and technical specifications for new business managed systems, and/or new components or interfaces between existing systems if required
• Actively find ways to automate repetitive tasks to stream line tasks, particularly around system testing including the use of automated testing tools

Successful candidates are:

• Proven knowledge/interest in ERP systems
• At least 2 years of experience within a finance related position
• Bright and hardworking
