Job description

Investigo are currently assisting a FTSE listed Business based in Hertfordshire with the Interim appointment of a Group Reporting Manager.

The Group Reporting Manager will be required to start as soon as possible and will report to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Reporting Manager will ensure that the Group prepares all external and internal reporting in a timely and accurate manner, and will be responsible for driving best practice and consistency in reporting throughout the Group. Preference given to candidates with PLC experience, gained either within a corporate or Big 4

Key elements of the role:

- Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for the Group, and the associated internal management reporting pack

- Consolidation and review of budgets/forecasts in conjunction with HO Finance team/markets

- Interim and Annual PLC statutory accounts preparation under IFRS plus Annual UK subsidiary accounts; assisting with the preparation of related investor presentations

- Maintaining of the group financial reporting system and accounting manual to ensure consistency and best practice is achieved across the Group. Point of reference for assessing the impact of new accounting standards/ specific transactions

- Key point of contact with Group Auditors on accounting and reporting issues

- Bank covenant compliance reporting on a bi-annual basis

- Coordination of annual Group insurance renewal

Successful applicants will meet the criteria below:

- Qualified accountant ideally ACA

- Have experience of working in a multi-locational group involving preparing a multi-currency consolidation

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, but with a commercial approach

- Highly accurate with excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail, while being able to deliver results within tight timescales

- Be a proactive, approachable team player

- Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at interacting with individuals at all levels within the organisation; culturally sensitive
