Head of Analytics

This is an opportunity that doesn't come around every day, I am currently on the lookout for a Head of Analytics based in London. The successful candidate will have the opportunity become a focal point in shaping and driving an Analytics strategy and roadmap to improve the level of analytics capability across the organisation. Ideally this candidate will have come from an Analyst background where they progressed into a managerial role and are now focusing more on the commercial and strategic side of data.

Requirements:

• Lead the development and implementation of an analysis strategy and roadmap that improves the level of analytics capability
• Implement best in class data analytics practices, clear presentation of findings, and establish a core set of analysis tools and data to ensure efficient spend
• Establish robust checking and validation processes for all analytical outputs, and a zero-tolerance approach to errors

Skills:

• Experience leading and growing an analytics function within a large organisation
• Expert understanding of analytics best practice and new/evolving analysis tools
• Strong technical background to enable clear direction and evaluation of analytics projects (e.g. SQL, Qlik Sense, SAP)
• Experienced in setting and driving analytics strategy from the short to long term, and selling this in to key stakeholders across an organisation to secure appropriate budget funding
