HEAD OF DATA AND CUSTOMER INSIGHT

£75,000 - £90,000 + 20% BONUS

Currently in process of redefining how data is used across the business, this retail company is looking for a leader in this space to support this exciting transformation.

Focused on ensuring all marketing decision making is grounded in insight this role will see you owning projects.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly into the Director of Marketing this role will see you:

  • Championing data driven marketing - as we move into an era of personalisation data driven marketing has never been more important. Within this remit you will be overhaling segmentation approaches, building out a picture of the loyal customer and planning acquisition, retention and engagement campaigns.
  • Building Customer loyalty - using customer insights and the newly built SCV you will decide how customers are approached for offers and loyalty engagement marketing ultimately inspiring customers that keep coming back.
  • Campaign effectiveness - key to optimising any success in the marketing space you will build a measurement framework to identify campaign, channel and offer performance.
  • 'What's next' - at the beginning of their data journey, a large part of your remit will be around defining where the business can take their data next. Whether that's implementing new tools/techniques or looking for new ways to work with current sources it's yours to decide. This role is pivotal to the successful growth of the wider business and will be instrumental to the creation of the analytics roadmap.

YOUR SKILLS

You don't have to tick every box but experience in the majority of the below is required:

  • Significant experience within a customer insights function with clear examples of how your work has delivered commercial value
  • A data focused mindset with the ability to influence change within this space
  • Experience working across multiple data sources including marketing, sales and customer data
  • Defined analytics programmes across marketing or customer insight
  • Strong stakeholder management ability
  • Expertise in strategic planning
  • A degree or higher at BA or BSc level
