Head of Finance

Head of Finance (Commercial) required for my highly successful group within the FMCG sector who supply a quality range of goods to the major retailers.

This newly created post will report directly into the Group Financial Director and will gain day to day exposure to the senior management and Board within each of the Groups divisions providing strategic insight to maximise future opportunities and reducing risk.

As Head of Finance you will gain a clear operational understanding of each of the division's activities and trading position whilst providing advice, ideas and a consolidated overview to the Board to assist in decision making and investment and on-going commercial activities.

Accountabilities and duties include: Management and development of a small team, business partnering to the divisional heads including investment appraisal and due diligence. Production of consolidated management and financial reports along with commentary, P&L review for the divisions and monthly management reporting.

Cashflow management, assisting with year-end statutory audit, setting and maintaining KPI's, analysis of company performance and ongoing development of reporting and processes.

This role is perfectly suited to a qualified Finance Manager, ACA, CIMA or ACCA with circa 6 to 10 years years post qualified experience looking for a commercial senior finance role within a fast-moving and investing business.

The ideal candidate will have sound leadership skills and will be open to occasional travel as it is essential that you support the divisions and build strong working relationships with the stakeholders.
