Head of Finance Operations

Investigo are delighted to partnering with an Online/Tech based travel company in their search for a Head of Finance Operations. The Head of Finance Operations will be responsible for delivering scalable finance operations covering the core pillars of Order to Cash (O2C), Purchase to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R) and operational treasury functions. Providing a best in class finance operations service to finance stakeholders as well as other business wide stakeholders such as CX and the Supply teams through regularly monitored SLA's and KPI's.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Defined end to end process map and RACI across the key finance operations pillars of O2C, P2P, R2R and operational treasury
• Defined KPI suite to track the performance of key O2C, P2P and R2R financial metrics, setting agreed targets and thresholds and driving mitigating actions for any areas predicted to deviate from thresholds
• Agreed SLA's with Head of Reporting and Control, Head of FPA and Commercial Finance and Head of Treasury and other key business stakeholders
• Defined KPI suite to track performance against the agreed SLAs
• Delivering daily/ weekly/ monthly deliverables for the Reporting, Commercial Finance and Treasury teams in line with SLAs
• Lead a scalable and lean finance operations team using efficient process and automation to ensure best in class service whilst maintaining a sufficient but low growth cost base

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:

• Deep knowledge of best in class O2C, P2P and R2R processes and delivery frameworks
• Strong leader driving a high quality and on time delivery mindset whilst developing and supporting the team through continuous improvement
• KPI and target focused, instilling urgency within the team to resolve issues and grab opportunities
• Strong communicator with ability to influence across functions not only within finance but across the business
• Used to delivering in an agile, fast paced environment
• Using data and KPI dashboards to understand what is performing well, what isn't and why and make recommendations for change
• Root cause analysis and resolution mindset

Desirable:

• G Suite experience
• Experience working in the tech/online/travel sector
