Exceptional opportunity as Head of Group Reporting has arisen within a leading FTSE business based in Central Hertfordshire.

The Head of Group reporting will work alongside the Head of Financial Reporting and will report directly into the Company Secretary.

With a flat structure across Senior Finance and day to day exposure to the Board this role gives a high-level strategic view of the Plc and will give exposure to confidential activities such as acquisitions and other initiatives.

Due to the flexible, open and communitive style of the Company Secretary this represents the perfect opportunity for a high calibre finance professional the freedom to lead technical accounting projects and enhance the reporting within a market leading international.

As Head of Group Reporting you day to day duties and activities will include;

Acting as lead for all technical accounting matters within a PLC including IFRS and GAAP related matters, supporting the Company Secretarial team to improve the complex statutory needs of the business, leading statutory accounting whilst building relationships across the finance function and wider international business to ensure "best in class" reporting, providing a service to the Board and Audit Committee, developing the Finance related IT and processes (SAP exposure would be beneficial), assisting with acquisitions and disposals, Group consolidations within a multi-currency environment and ad-hoc projects.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant and will have come from a top 4 Practice with exposure to reporting within a listed business, however a senior Manager straight from Practice will also be considered.
