Head of Management Accounts

Investigo are delighted to be partnering with a Milton Keynes based Service Organisation who are looking to recruit a Head of Management Accounts, on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Head of Management Accounts will be responsible for leading the month end close and providing support to the FC in developing the controls framework.

In general, key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and consolidating monthly management accounts and KPI reporting packs
• Producing key balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing monthly financial operations
• Improving the internal controls framework
• Assisting in preparation of statutory audit information
• Supporting the Financial Controller and deputising in their absence
• Leading a team of 4 staff, providing coaching and appropriate development plans

The successful candidate will be a Qualified accountant with a proven academic record and strong management accounting experience. You will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to build effective relationships and strong attention to detail. You will also have prior experience of managing a team and a track record of developing staff.

Our Client is offering a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits.
