Head of Reporting

Company overview:

Role:

The Head of Reporting is for a 12 month maternity cover and will have complete ownership of the reporting & consolidation for the UK entities.

Responsibilities:

• Internal Reporting: Full ownership of the P&L, Balance Sheet, Consolidation of Management Accounts and Management Packs.
• External Reporting: Management of the statutory audit and tax returns for the UK entities. Liaising with external auditors and the EMEA finance team.
• Team Management: Manage a small team, reviewing work and setting clear objectives.
• Shared Service Centre: Liaise with the Shared Service Centre, for the support of day-to-day reporting and ad-hoc requests.
• Controls & Compliance: Ensure all UK entities are fully compliant with all internal and external controls, specifically with regulatory controls (SOX).

Profile:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with an appropriate level of post-qualified experience.
• Demonstrable experience working within a reporting team for a listed business.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP & SOX.
• Previous experience within the Media & Entertainment space desirable.
• Knowledge of large finance systems (SAP, Oracle, etc).
• Mult-currency experience desirable.
