Information Governance Manager - Information Management

Do you have a solid background in Information Governance?

Do you have experience working within central government?

Do you hold SC, DV or NPPV clearance?

A major central government organisation are looking for an Information Governance Manager to join them on-site in London on an initial 9 month engagement.

An experienced Information Governance Lead is required to support design by reviewing and developing information strategy and policy, ensuring that any action plans, policies and procedures are fully implemented and aligned to the government's Data and Analytics Strategy and IM policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish all necessary policy, procedures and standards for safe & legal operation
  • Define IM throughout its lifecycle, ensuring it is compliant government IM policy
  • Advise, quality assure, develop and deliver strategic and tactical data management and analytical solutions to operational challenges
  • Control business-led transformation impact
  • Implement technical capabilities needed for effective data and information management
  • Manage and improve the maturity of information governance, effect organisational change, and communicate data-led approaches
  • Manage and improve data quality management capability
  • Support enterprise IM and develop the governance, reporting, and providing MI where required for performance reporting
  • Ensure the quality, secure handling and dissemination of data
