Information Security Consultant - IAM/IDAM - Azure - ISO27001

A major government agency is seeking an Information Security Specialist to join them on an inside IR35 basis for a 12-month contract. When lockdown ends, candidates will have an office base location of London, Coventry or Newcastle.

Knowledge of:

• 5 years' experience of working within an Information Security or related department.
• Understanding of aspects and importance of Information Security Management controls
• Cloud technologies, in particular Microsoft Azure Security Centre
• Familiar with Enterprise Security Management and industry standards, and deploying best practices and methodologies
• Creating and automating security validation processes
• Information Security and Risk analysis.
• Design of Information Security controls within data centre/hybrid environments and Cloud Service Providers of SaaS/PaaS/IaaS
• Information security properties in technology, identifying new technologies and designing the use of these in the business context
• Information Security assurance experience including security incident, operational and service improvement within ISO/IEC standards inc ISO27001/ISO27018 and ITIL frameworks.
• Secure software design principles and agile best practices.
• Awareness of GDS and other Government principles and codes of practise to support the product management technical capability and digital delivery
• Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales
• Secure architectures, able to articulate impact of vulnerabilities on existing and future designs
• Public sector working (especially within Government)
