Infrastructure Engineer

Currently seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to join a Business Services company within their Infrastructure team.

You will provide and have extensive knowledge in operational procedures and knowledge of infrastructure management tools. This role contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenace and installation work including configuration of infrastructure in virtualised environments. This role will be working across new and changed infrastructure, experience in configuring tools, testing and deployment is a must.

Experience

• Is thoroughly familiar installed hardware and software and the procedures of use in IT Infrastructure.
• Can communicate and present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fully understands the importance of security to own work and the operation of the organisation.
• Seeks specialist security knowledge or advice when required to support own work or work of immediate colleagues.
• Provide infrastructure support for an internal software environment and underlying systems
• Support internal users
• Provide application support when required
• Support servers, networks and virtualised environments
