Investigo are delighted to be exclusively supporting a large Milton Keynes based Client with their recruitment of an Integrated Margin Performance Lead, on a permanent basis.
The Integrated Margin Performance Lead is a key operational role for the organisation, and is is responsible for the Planning and Performance Reporting for the UK Midstream business. This role applies a Finance lens and deep understanding of business issues and priorities to form a consolidated view of UK performance, providing challenge from an independent, financial perspective. The role facilitates the transfer of business knowledge to the financials (and vice versa) to improve the quality of forecasting, data accuracy and drive additional value through generation of insights.
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of integrated margin analysis and optimisation for the UK business across a number of different business units/divisions.
  • Utilise sound technical knowledge to provide analytical support on key financial metrics and contributes to relevant planning processes, ensuring an appropriate level of rigour is applied in forecasting, analysis and insights.
  • Lead the financialisation of the Input processes for the UK business including management of assumptions
  • Interrogation of actuals to assess result plausibility and ensure variances are understood and provide insights and commentary around the integrated performance to support overall management of the business
  • Deliver regular reporting, including analysis of actuals, comparison to forecasts and plans, bridging analysis, cost reporting analysis and other ad hoc analyses
  • Own and manage the UK input into the Regional V&O register
  • Contributes to the production of management information (MI), ensuring MI is accurately compiled and discrepancies are reconciled meticulously to protect data integrity.
  • Drive the continued improvement of MI across the business to ensure standardisation, automation and effective generation of insights is achieved.


The successful Candidate will be a Professionally Qualified or QBE individual who possesses demonstrable commercial analysis and business partnering experience. They will have the ability to quickly insights from data analysis, and challenge the status quo. They will also have strong influencing, networking and relationship building skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both within Finance and across the business, as well as having the skillset to drive process change.
Our Client is offering a generous remuneration package comprising of a £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary, 20% flexible benefits package, Bonus, Pension and Healthcare.
