Job description

One of the UK's leading Facilities Service Providers is looking to add a Facilities Manager to one of its flagship contracts based in West Sussex. The position has become available due to someone moving on and they need someone until the end of 2019 with the potential to extend. The site itself is very diverse with buildings such as commercial offices, critical environments and manufacturing/production facilities.

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the likes of;

  • Maintaining a high level of statutory compliance.
  • Manage a team and workforce of circa 100.
  • Work collaboratively with the client to provide a first-class service.
  • Spotting and capturing works outside of the contract to charge on.
  • Day to day operational management of 5 sites.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally have the following skills and experience;

  • Have a proven career working in facilities management and in a similar operational role.
  • Delivered a full stack of facilities solutions including hard and soft services into a complex estate.
  • Have a strong technical understanding and able to manage a high volume of Planned Preventive Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance.
  • Ideally have a technical qualification - Electrical or Mechanical etc.
