Interim Payroll Manager

Based in Hatfield

Investigo are pleased to be supporting this global business who are seeking an Interim Payroll Manager. This business has gone through a significant period of change and are seeking at ways to improve and streamline their payroll processes.

Whilst this is being looked at, they are seeking an individual who can support the day to day running of the function.

Key Duties

  • Responsible for the management of the team to deliver payroll processes effectively and efficiently globally adhering to set and agreed SLAs, KPI and policies providing the right user experience for colleagues and business stakeholders
  • Lead the team to process payroll and relevant payments delivering accurate payments on time and effectively manage enquiries from colleagues and business teams
  • Support period end activities (closing the sub ledger) and ensure correctness of payments
  • Report and present weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs to senior management and provide reporting on payroll

Skills Required

  • Experience of payroll systems and understanding of UK / International payroll legislation (International is an advantage but not essential)
  • Ability to develop team objectives dividing them in manageable tasks, coordinating and driving achievement across the teams, motivate their team to drive to improve service and effectiveness
  • Experience in process improvement to improve SLAs and KPIs
