Interim - Group Accountant

Investigo is partnered with an international media agency to support with the recruitment for a Senior Interim Group Accountant to join their team on a 12 month contract outside of IR35. This role has a strong focus on group consolidation and external reporting, candidates with international business backgrounds who have worked with multi-currency consolidations will be favoured.

Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly consolidation process ensuring accurate, efficient and timely reporting of group results
• Assist and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual external financial reporting
• Produce the annual statutory accounts and reporting to the Board, PE Owners and Investors.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of key balances and preparation of supporting schedules for group reporting.
• Support the external and internal audit processes
• Provide support on accounting policy and other technical accounting matters.
• Lead or support ad hoc Group Finance projects and drive process improvement.

The ideal candidate will need to be immediately available or on maximum 4 weeks notice, you will also need to be fully qualified with at least 2 years PQE with industry group finance experience.
