Interim Project Accountant

We are currently looking for an interim Accountant to support our client for a 6-month period during a time of multiple deliverables. The role will work closely across both the group and divisional finance teams.

The role will be involved with:

• Providing review of the cost center P&L's and meeting with the cost center managers on a monthly basis to overview their actuals against budget and understand variances in more depth.
• Working with the finance team to deliver the year end reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliation reviews
• Other ad hoc duties.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or equivalent with a strong technical reporting background. The ability to business partner across non finance budget holders will also be essential in the role with the ability to relationship build and challenge as appropriate.

The role will require a blend of technical reporting and business partnering and would provide a great opportunity for the right candidate to move out of a pure reporting role and start to develop Business partnering skills.
