Internal Consultant

Internal Consultant / Insurance / London Market / TOM / Business Process Design / £600 PAYE

Our client a London market Insurer has a requirement for an Internal Consultant to join their strategic change function, and offer analysis and solutions to complex business issues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• To evaluate and provide expert input into existing and proposed business processes and practices
• To assess complex problems, understanding requirements and presenting recommendations that are in line with the strategic vision of the business
• To understand, develop and advance the ideas of from individuals throughout the organisation, including senior management
• To work alongside teams to design and develop new operating models, providing expert input across organisational, process, technology and data architecture
• Quickly producing findings, recommendations and models as appropriate based on incomplete information
• To design, develop, implement and improve business practices by working with key stakeholders across the business

Skills and Experience:

• Experience within a Consulting, Change or Operations background highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Strong team player, with an appreciation of the need to ensure strong links are built and maintained with other business functions and areas
• Ability to develop and apply consulting skills and effectively solve complex business problems
• The ability to articulate complex problems, recommendations and solutions in a simple and logical manner
• Ability to be adaptable, work with incomplete information and remove obstacles in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience of Lean desirable
• Strong business data analysis skills desirable
