IT & Technology Risk Manager

A fast growing FinTech firm with a global presence are growing out their second line risk function and recruiting a newly created IT & Technology Risk Manager.

This role will own the IT risk management process across data security, technology controls and IT risk policies and procedures as part of the wider operational risk framework. You will be a key contact for senior stakeholders as the business scales both in the UK and globally.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing the IT risk and data security reporting to support the wider business strategy and the non-financial risk framework.
• Putting in place processes around data security for client data, working alongside guidance from regulators (namely ISO27001) to ensure best practice.
• Developing relationships with stakeholders across the firm, developing a strong IT risk appetite in all business lines.
• Working with stakeholders across the three lines of defence, acting as the subject matter expert for IT risk.
