IT Business Applications Manager / Lead

A rapidly growing medical device manufacturing business with a really innovative product which is approved for use in the UK and US are seeking to recruit an IT Business Applications Manager /Lead to join their small but growing technology function. As IT Business Applications Manager, it's your role to manage the current business applications, and to drive system change to support business growth, improve productivity and reduce organisational risk. This role will be involved in several transformational IT projects including the implementation of enterprise applications such as; ERP, EQMS and HRM systems.

The IT Business Applications Manager will heavily influence the IT strategy and work with the Infrastructure and Cyber Security Manager, Service Delivery Lead and Infrastructure Lead to progress the execution of the IT roadmap. Lastly as a skilled technical role, the IT Business Applications Manager will advise on the maintenance and optimisation of on-premise and SaaS applications and the troubleshooting of complex IT problems with the wider IT team.

The role is a new role, and there is scope for the appointed candidate to join as "IT Business Applications Manager" level or "IT Business Applications Lead" level hence the salary is negotiable, but very competitive, taking into account the high profile nature of the projects you'll be involved in, as well as the need to appoint to support the current and future operating models.
