IT Director

New IT Director role working for a circa £500M turnover business with headquarters in the Midlands. With over 100 years of heritage and success this organisation is entering an exciting time in their journey. This is an IT Director position that will see you lead a team of around 20 IT professionals including IT Operations, Service Delivery, Vendor Management, Governance and Cyber Security who have a clear focus on providing first class IT services to help the organisation and leadership achieve their aims. The organisation has come to a point in their history where they now need to invest in the development of the IT organisation and your role will be to lead this change, transforming the IT organisation into a truly value adding function building and providing a simple, safe, adaptable and effective IT foundation for the business.

About you:-

You will come from a background that has a focus on Infrastructure and IT Operations. This is a leadership role so you will be able to demonstrate a proven background in leading IT Operations teams, owning the budget, managing in-house infrastructure and IT Operations teams aswell as delivering services effectively through 3rd parties. You will likely come from a small to medium size business that has given you the experience of managing the IT function end-to-end and be comfortable working with board members and presenting in board environments.

This would suit someone who is either IT Director in small to medium size business looking for their next challenge bringing with them the successes of the past as a tool kit to have instant impact in this business, or this could equally suit a Head of IT, Head of IT Operations/Infrastructure looking for their first IT Director role who is looking for their first break into a senior leadership role.
