IT Project Manager - OEE - Cloud - Inside IR35 - Fully remote

Investigo's key client a global FMCG company is seeking an experienced IT project manager with experience in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to deploy a new solution across 30 different factories including on-site infrastructure implementation and Cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

• This IT Project Manager is a critical role within the IT Manufacturing organisation for Health and Nutrition and will be pivotal in driving out a step change in factory performance management.
• Leading the deployment of our standard automatic OEE data collection and calculation tool, the PM will work with a core team of IT and business personnel as well as a systems integrator, software vendor, multiple hardware vendors, and teams in each factory to achieve success.
• A key element of this excellence framework is Outperformance Management: driving a focus on performance, efficiency and controls and with an organisationally consistent approach and focus on OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).
• The Auto-OEE rollout will provide every factory with access to online recording and reporting of performance information, and gradually drive all factories to automatic data collection and reporting using integrated tools, sensors and operator devices.
• Keep an active RAID Log for each deployment and ensure all actions are being followed to eliminate risks and issues. IT PM also needs to make sure RACI has been followed correctly. The candidate also needs to demonstrate ability to work under pressure, with core problem solving skills and an ability to both prioritise and be pragmatic.
• The candidate must have a familiarity with Manufacturing and the factory environment, including the specific challenges of Operational Technology (OT) and how factory operations differ from corporate or office environments and be able to manage challenging situations
• The IT PM must have an understanding of cloud deployments into Azure, as well as IOT Edge and IOT Hub and the requirements of these technologies (Public/Private cloud, SAP ERP, interface design and separation, contracts and licencing remediation, networking, data warehousing/data lakes). Whilst we do not need an expert, skill with managing complex deployments across these platforms is important.

Key skills

• Experience of Project Management and Change Management across complex programmes, sites and stakeholder groups (8+ years).
• Agile, Scrum, PMP certifications are desirable
• MS Project and MS Office Skills are required
• Demonstrable Manufacturing process understanding and proficiency; experience and understanding of Industry 4.0; knowledge of key Industrial Automation and Data Analytics systems desirable
• Experience of deploying solutions into cloud architecture with multiple IOT sites and Edge connected.
