IT Service Manager

Initial 3 months (high chance of extension) - £500 per day (Inside IR35) - Remote

Our London based client in the local Government sector, have an immediate requirement for an IT Service Manager to join on an initial 3-month interim basis.

Purpose of the IT Service Manager role

  • Responsible for the overall management and leadership of the service desk function
  • Design, develop and implement continuous service improvements
  • Responsible for all service desk delivery and responsible for performance of the service desk
  • Performance management of the team measured against SLAs and KPIs


Experience required for the IT Service Manager

  • Good working knowledge of the ITIL framework
  • Experience working in a technically complex IT environment
  • Managing and a leading a team of high performing IT support service, with a complex environment
  • Track record of achievement leading a high quality, high performing IT service desk function
  • Experience in new technologies and supporting these
  • Successful delivery into customer focused service delivery
  • Proven skills and a track record of achieving service improvement through the adoption of digital technologies
