Our client need someone with strong communication skills that has experience liaising with different departments within the business - TEP Oracle UK exp. - Building a data warehouse - go live in July - KNN is the solution provider - Managing multiple teams - Building and monitoring exp - Issue resolution, weekly/monthly cost reporting for the project - Over 10 years exp. as a tech PM - NO CV'S with Business PM - straight rejection.
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of assigned projects. The ideal candidate will work with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver IT solution for Brexit readiness for new warehouse. The project manager will develop project plan, manage project budget, develop and track detailed work plans, prioritize tasks, identify and address scope changes, resource constraints, possible project delays, resolve delivery issues, track hours and provide status reporting for each assigned project and be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
The role will report to the client's Director of STP Technology Solutions and will work closely with business users, other technology peers and project managers.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT workstream tasks to deliver IT solution for interim UK warehouse for Brexit No deal.
  • Prioritize, track and monitor delivery of enhancement requests and discovered bugs
  • Tracking and reporting project status to the Executive Team
  • Create project plan, resource estimation, scope management, driving requirement gathering sessions
  • Manage project risks and escalate any issues
  • Provide inputs to the assigned Program Manager to ensure a comprehensive project plan developed and buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of the technical and functional work stream
  • Defining clear entry and exit criteria for each phase of the project
  • Continuing to improve project management processes and practices

Essential Skills /Experience:

  • 10+ years of technology project management experience
  • Experience delivering several large & complex implementations/upgrades projects
  • Expert in creating and maintaining project plans, driving requirements gathering and testing sessions, getting regular status updates, resource planning, scope management, managing cutovers and managing project budgets.
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings with large number of participants
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS implementations and upgrades
  • Work well with diverse personalities and have excellent listening and communication skills
  • Track record of effectively delivering complex projects successfully
  • Experience working with a distributed team of developers, including off-shore contractors
  • Proven excellent people skills to be able to lead and motivate the project teams.
