JavaScript Tech Lead - Contract

Location: Fully remote anywhere in UK for contract duration

Rate and Engagement: Up to £650 day rate - Inside IR35

This is a unique opportunity to work with a major retailer on some exciting next generation initiatives. A partner of Investigo is looking to engage a skilled Technical Lead with a real focus on Front-end technologies to join them on a huge modernisation group of projects. The role will give you freedom to be innovative and build high-quality and fully performant software using the best and newest technology with a focus on JavaScript and the user experience.

What do we need from you?

• Strong experience in JavaScript including frameworks (preferably Angular, or if you have worked with any custom or proprietary frameworks that would be hugely beneficial. Along with an understanding of good UX and UI.
• Experience working on intuitive front-end user facing UI and collaborating with UX.
• Previous experience working on large scale refresh and innovation projects to modernise reactive user interfaces.
• A quality led approach to testing your own code and providing best in class software solutions.

The initial length of contract is 6 months, however with over 18 months of project work to work through there is a high probability of extension for the full term and a day rate up to £650 per day. This will join a BAU project and has been deemed inside IR35.
