Management Accountant

If so, Investigo finance is currently partnering with a high growth property management firm in East London on their search for an ambitious and motivated Accountant for a brand new role.

This opportunity will open up the opportunity to take ownership over the following areas and continue developing skills across:

• Assist in the month end process in line with the reporting timetable:
• Take ownership over the accuracy and completeness of accruals and prepayments through liaising with relevant individuals in the business and driving a stringent process with regards to purchase orders that is adhered to
• Post journals in Yardi system
• Prepare summaries for various cost centres to allow for analysis of performance in line with budget/forecast
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  
  
• Strong link to the FP&A team, which is responsible for explaining management information to the cost centre owners
• Be proactive in identifying system efficiencies and improvements and be confident in vocalising these and helping drive solutions with the wider finance team
• Be a key contact for external auditors, responding to queries and providing supporting schedules where necessary
• Prepare analysis required by tax advisors
• Ad hoc requests to support the Financial Control and Compliance team

The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate the following attributes:

• Currently studying / looking to study ACCA or CIMA
• Educated to degree level
• Experienced with journal postings, month end procedures, balance sheet recs and reporting
• Intermediate excel skills
• Positive attitude with a drive to progress
• Be a team player, proactive and committed to finding solutions
