Management Accountant

My client, a well known hospitality business are looking for a Management Accountant to join them on an interm basis for 6 months. This role plays a key part of the delivery of accounting services in the business. The role is responsible for a range of activities related to reporting in a face paced environment which includes execution of period end accounting entries , running month and routines, making necessary GL adjustments, closing and finalization of GL trial balance , closing G/L and performing post closure activities, and relevant ERP functionality.

Responsibilities

• Execute period end accounting activities in NetSuite
• Perform Reporting activities during closing book and consolidate financial results along with other financial reporting
• Maintain necessary GL adjustments and notify business based on review of trial balances
• Maintain finalization of GL trial balance
• Perform post closure activities - Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports based on policy, procedures or audit requirements
• Prepare schedules for statutory, internal Audits and interacting with auditors

• Process and record asset acquisitions
• Perform period end closing activities that are used for properly valuing the assets for accounting purposes
• Prepare period end fixed assets reports

• Assisting the monthly close process, providing reporting to support the close including monthly flash P&L reports, system reconciliations,

• Proactively highlight/escalate any issues or challenges

Requirements:

• Fixed Asset Experience
• Management Accounts experience
• Qualified Accountant
