Management Accountant

Investigo finance London is proud to be exclusively partnered with a leading property services business in Central London on their search for an Accountant to join one of the busiest and fastest growing teams on a fixed term contract basis.

This Management Accountant position will see you taking responsibility over month end duties across a number of client contracts as well as business partnering with internal and external contacts.

The role will entail:

• To provide comprehensive financial support across all contracts within the Business Unit.
• To provide financial insight to key business stakeholders including; budgeting, forecasting and actual spend.
• Responsible for the preparation of Business Review Packs with supporting analysis and commentary.
• To aid in the preparation and review of the month end management accounts with initial commentary and analysis.
• To business partner with heads of contract to carry out the initial monthly forecast, and to challenge and highlight risks/opportunities.
• To manage our debt and KPI position on a weekly basis by working with the contract supports to ensure outstanding debt from the client is paid in time.
• To review WIP (Work In Progress) position in order to ensure that the Extra Works jobs are being managed effectively and correctly, challenging contract managers when WIP turnaround is not at the required level.
• Prepare accurate cost sheets for Projects in order for them to be accounted on an accruals basis.
• Support the production of Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis. i.e. Balance Sheet Reviews, General Ledger Reconciliation.

Experience required:

• Experience working with month end duties and confident leading on these areas
• Hard-working, collaborative and a team player attitude
• Experience dealing with non-finance departments and running thorough commentary and variance analysis
• Able to start within 1 week of offer
