Job description

Investigo Finance is exclusively working with an established property business in Central London that offers excellent progression options for their part qualified teams. The role will offer great exposure to commercial skills as well as core finance abilities and would ultimately suit a really hard-working and ambitious individual.

The daily duties will involve:

  • Support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and forecasting processes, and ensure accuracy and correct accounting treatment.
  • Support the creation of an annual budget and thereafter, monitor spend against budget and outlooks / forecasts throughout the financial year.
  • Support the Finance Director, Finance Manager and Directors to ensure company compliance with the Corporate Financial calendar timetable, business unit review timetable, and to ensure any client deadlines are adhered to.
  • Support the monitoring of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and Financial Authorities.
  • Track, upload and process Revenue invoices for the team
  • Prepare adhoc reports and spreadsheets as required
  • Continuous improvement of corporate accounting processes, suggesting new solutions and accounting / reporting enhancements
  • Assist the Business Directors and operational teams as required by the Finance Manager
  • Provide high quality and accurate financial advice to Senior Management to enable decision making.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 2 years finance experience with month end exposure
  • Intermediate excel skills (proficient with vlookups and pivoittables)
  • Be proactive and consider yourself a good team player
  • Ability adapt to deadlines and prioritise workload accordingly
  • Enjoy dealing with non-finance departments
  • Actively working towards an accountancy qualification or looking to begin ACCA, CIMA OR ACA
