Management Accountant - Real Estate

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to step away from the transactional duties and focus your time on the forward looking elements and business partnering with other departments? If so, please read on.

This privately owned real estate investment firm are looking to add an enthusiastic and driven Accountant to join their team in London. This role offers a step up into more commercial position with the chance to continue your career progression into a Finance Manager or into more fund finance focused roles.

The role will be responsible for:

• Production and maintenance of monthly internal property budgets
• Maintaining full cash forecast for projects
• Reviewing quarterly Management Accounts for a number of SPVs
• Ensuring SPV compliance with HMRC and companies house (including NRL and VAT
• reporting)
• Ensuring completion of all external loan reporting requirements
• Collation of all invoices for approval and payment recommendation
• Assisting in the SPV incorporation and internal record keeping of property completion documentation
• Managing administrators to ensure timely quarterly and annual management account information
• Working alongside internal Analysts and Asset Managers on projects
• Liaising with external consultants to gather property budget information
• Insurance administration for property assets
• Assist with Fund Audit

Experience required:

• Real estate / property industry experience
• ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified or studying towards with month end experience
• Driven and progression focused individual
• Intermediate excel skills
• Experience with multiple entities / SPV structures
