MS Dynamics Business Analyst (D365 GL)

Our client is looking for a MS Dynamics BA to operate on a fully remote basis for 6 months.

This role will be part of the Global migration team.

This includes pro-actively gathering information from a variety of structured and unstructured sources and solving of complex data quality issues in order successfully migrate the data from a legacy system and spreadsheets to Microsoft Dynamics D365 General Ledger / Financial Operations module.

Your role and responsibilities will be:

• Work alongside the Data migration Lead to successfully complete the data migration deliverables within the agreed time frame.
• Complete the data migration analysis including the identification of inconsistencies.
• Tracking progress of and supporting data cleansing activities in line with the plan.
• Work closely with the Data Migration Lead to perform source system data analysis to manage source to target data mapping and migration.
• Work alongside the Data migration vendor and their tools to transform data where required.
• Consulting with the client teams to validate requirements.
• Managing client teams' approvals at various stages of the process.
• Securely managing and handling all data.
• Data interrogation, cleansing recommendations and execution of migration to new accounting system.
• Devise strategies to resolve data issues and cut-over management.
• Work with client teams on the resolution of data issues.
• Reconciliation process from design to investigation and resolution of issues.
• Ensuring business sign off for the data.
• Reviews of data in conjunction the business to ensure data integrity.
• Working with databases and other tools to confirm sufficient data points will recreate business and regulatory reports.
• Communication and liaison with client teams.
• Undertaking the development of UAT scripts and support business SME UAT activity and as required undertake key UAT scenario validation.
