Office 365 Engineer

My client has soft-launched Microsoft Teams across the business with approx 1,3000 users that are currently using the toolset. This role will be working within the Digital Workplace team to provide 2nd Line Suppot to the remaining users across the business. The Digital Workplace Team are in the process of improving their O365 support capabilities and this role will play a key part in helping the team upskill.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2 support and troubleshooting
• Work with internal customers to support and resolve technical issues through to completion
• Support installation, configuration, and support of Microsoft Office 365 on various platforms
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the customer experience
• Increase engagement with O365
• Share knowledge amongst the Digital Workplace Team via solution documents, technical communities and training recommendations
• Training and educating end-users on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (Teams, OneDrive, OneNote, SharePoint, etc)
• Providing end-user support for PC (and mobile?) based hardware, applications and services
• Troubleshoot OS, network and storage related issues

Skills and experience

• Experience administrating and supporting Office 365 services with a focus on Teams.
• Minimum 2 years experience configuring, implementing and maintaining SharePoint Online. Broad and deep knowledge of Microsoft O365/Cloud Technology platform (SharePoint, One Drive, Delve, MS Flow, Power Apps, Power BI, Azure, Active Directory).
• Deep understanding of troubleshooting web based applications hosted on the Microsoft stack.
• Working knowledge of cloud based infrastructure.
• Experience of Powershell specifically bulk updates, scripting, configuration.
• Minimum 2 years experience of Azure.
• 2+ years' experience of supporting O365 suite of tools, particularly Teams.
