Operations Finance Business partner

Finance Business Partner - 6-12 month FTC - London

Key Tasks:

• Oversee the weekly and quarterly shop forecasting from end to end, managing the target templates and process and collating shop plans once completed
• Work closely with Operations team to provide ad-hoc financial support as needed to meet their performance-related targets, alongside insights and analytics on specific initiatives
• Attendance at formal Operations meetings to build relationships, understand operational priorities and embed these to ensure proactive and relevant analytical reporting
• Identify trading extension opportunities, ensuring sales optimisation, on a regular basis
• Present financial results to the Operations team on a regular basis
• Management of Operational financial performance measures including target setting for labour and waste
• Be at the forefront of new commercial initiatives ensuring they are operationalised effectively and that appropriate targets and benchmarks are set and adjusted as the business evolved

Skills and experience:

• Experience in a Retail Operations environment
• Multi-site experience
• Furlough Experience
• Commercial minded - ablility to extract insight from complex data, ideally having worked in a similar commercial/operationally focused role before
• Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Excel reporting skills - efficient at creating reports and manipulating data from various systems to support analysis
