Job description

I am working with this large, established business in Hemel Hempstead who are looking for a Payroll Manager to cover a maternity leave for the next 12 months. The position will be responsible for managing one direct report and processing all payrolls.

  • Be responsible for the checking and approval of the fortnightly and monthly payrolls, and generate the payroll reports by pay basis.
  • To manage payroll trackers and regularly report on costings, generate reports as requested
  • To process all third party payments, liaising with the Accounts team.
  • Be responsible for dealing with all payroll related queries from the centres, RSM's and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all Attachment of Earnings Orders are actioned and payment made to the respective authorities.
  • Submitting the EPS to HMRC monthly and reconciling the PAYE account.
  • To manage system administration on the payroll and HR system.
  • To collate relevant information for P11D and P60 processing.
  • To oversee all pension schemes across the business.
  • To manage the National Minimum and Living Wage process, including communications for sites and system updates
  • To manage the annual and quarterly pay review and bonus, including mail merge for letters and reward statements
  • To review all payroll processes and ensure these remain compliant in line with GDPR.
  • To complete any other task as reasonably requested.
