12 Month Fixed Term Contract

£55,000 - £70,000 PA

Experience in system implementation and payroll Change/Transformation.

Duties:

  • To lead in implementation or upgrade of payroll systems
  • Be the fundamental team member to transform and change the way payroll operates
  • To support business in moving weekly paid staff to monthly paid working closely with HR and Communications
  • The effective management of the Payroll department, providing support and development to the existing team of four
  • Oversees direct payroll procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Manage, support and coach payroll team
  • Maintain and produce reports
  • Can deal with wide range of payroll queries
  • Calculating and deducting all statutory requirements which include Tax, NI, SMP, SPP, SSP, RTI, HMRC regulations
  • Pension knowledge
  • Can adapt to relevant payroll system
  • Experience in P45/P46/P60's/P11D's etc
  • Reversal payments
  • Monitoring multiple deadlines
  • Dealing with any employee and client queries
