Job description
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
£55,000 - £70,000 PA
Experience in system implementation and payroll Change/Transformation.
Duties:
- To lead in implementation or upgrade of payroll systems
- Be the fundamental team member to transform and change the way payroll operates
- To support business in moving weekly paid staff to monthly paid working closely with HR and Communications
- The effective management of the Payroll department, providing support and development to the existing team of four
- Oversees direct payroll procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
- Manage, support and coach payroll team
- Maintain and produce reports
- Can deal with wide range of payroll queries
- Calculating and deducting all statutory requirements which include Tax, NI, SMP, SPP, SSP, RTI, HMRC regulations
- Pension knowledge
- Can adapt to relevant payroll system
- Experience in P45/P46/P60's/P11D's etc
- Reversal payments
- Monitoring multiple deadlines
- Dealing with any employee and client queries
