People Business Partner

up to £50k depending on experience + bonus and benefits

SW London / Hybrid working

I am partnering with one of the worlds Largest Health & Beauty Retailers in recruiting for an experienced People Business Partner to join their internal Talent /Operations team. This is an absolutely fantastic role with so much scope to develop and be a part of the growth and success of the business. My client is open to candidates from a Recruitment agency background or from an internal recruitment background working in a demanding and fast paced environment.

A typical day in this role includes:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process of Group Head Office hires across the UK and Zurich. Working on new and creative recruitment initiatives to recruit the right talent into the right roles.
  • Having an in depth understanding of their stakeholders and teams, putting you in a strong position to support the Reward team with annual staff budgeting, performance and pay reviews cycles. Partnering with stakeholders to define and advise on changes in line with business needs whether it be new roles, structural changes etc.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end employee lifecycle which is looked after by the People Coordinator, helping to manage any specific queries or issues.
  • Being the go-to person for any HR related queries, advice or issues from teams and Managers, advising on best practice and procedures. Working closely with and coaching managers through any employee relations issues.
  • Working closely with their specialist Group People teams including Reward, L&D, and People Systems & Analytics on People related practices and initiatives including employee inductions, performance, training and development, employee relations, immigration, communication, payroll, benefits etc.
  • Facilitating any people movement or changes, including preparation of packages and offers
  • Developing and maintaining People system and processes, ensuring all data is kept up to date and accurate whilst also working on new improvements & developments
  • Involvement in broader Group projects including the global Employer Branding project which recently launched

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years' experience in a generalist HR role in the UK or Recruitment Agency / Internal Recruitment background
  • Hands on either in-house or agency recruitment experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities/projects
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
  • Experience working across other European markets would be an advantage
